May is Mental Health Awareness Month!
We can hardly believe it's May. We've been selected for our fifth Horses for Mental Health Campaign. It feels like it's never been more important to highlight the opportunities for healing and support that come from our relationships with horses. Our entire Spring Support activation will be included in our campaign, so whether you attend an event, share a post, make a donation, donate an auction prize, or host your own mini-fundraiser, it all helps our effort to amplify the message and put more services into the community.
Exciting Update! As of this writing, we're approaching $5,000 raised at the HMH page. We're setting a Milestone Goal of $6,000 by Saturday! When we reach that goal, Matt, one of our generous Milestone Donors, is kicking in another grand to celebrate. Way to go, team!

We have a little changeup for this weekend and next week.
Our Volunteer Farm Days have been adjusted to accommodate the inaugural Douglas Wellness Day.
Check out the event listing for Douglas Wellness Day and join us in downtown Douglas on May 9th from 9 am - 3 pm.
If you want to get your farm on, interested volunteers for Farm Days are invited to register for Community Impact Day via the MI West Coast Chamber. We'll have landscaping projects and Porch Party Prep going on from 1 - 4 pm with their crew. If you'd like to join earlier in the day or help us in any other way, feel free to send us a note or check out the volunteer link on the Porch Party Page.

COMMUNITY IMPACT DAY - MAY 13th
Join the West Coast Chamber, Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and Chambers across Michigan as they rally communities together for another transformational day of service.
Volunteers can pick their project and location, and Red Horse Center is a location with some projects!
Collaborative Event
The Red Horse Porch Party is an outdoor event down on the farm in Fennville with art, live music, food, and drink. See our herd, participate in collaborative art stations, view the gallery show, soak up the spring weather, and fresh air. We’ll be serving food from Farmhouse Deli and beer and wine from local producers. We’ll have an art auction and raffle where you can bid on local art, gift card bundles, and unique experiences. Plus, a live music performance starting at 3:30 pm Mat Daly, Hannah Laine and Great Lakes Brass!
This event is FREE to attend! Donations are welcome, including the raffle, auction, and Horses for Mental Health Campaign. Proceeds from food, drink, Art Club gallery show, and the Red Horse Outpost all help support our mission!
